Preview: Kaelen F/W12 NYFW

One of America’s first sex symbols, famed “It” girl, silent actress Clara Gordon Bow was the inspiration behind Kaelen’ fall winter 2012 collection presented at the Box in Lincoln Center. 18 looks ranging from harem pants to asymmetrical cut dresses and skirts. Gold metallics symbolizing the decadence of the 1920′, playful bow-ties and sexy sheer laces.

Young talented fashion designer Kaelen kept her color palette sophisticated. Lavender, grey, flecked black, navy, bronze and white. Her collection showed prints of fans, lattices and paisleys on the wool skirts and jumpsuits. Laser cut leather dresses, warm shearling wool jackets and silk cropped tops.
